When the founder lost her beloved grandmother, she was thousands of miles away in the UK, sitting in a corporate meeting when she received the heartbreaking news. In that moment, she felt the deep pain of distance and helplessness. After months of mourning, she found herself searching for a way to honour her grandmother’s memory and reconnect with her roots.

 She asked herself:

“What could I create that reflects the love, comfort, and connection my grandmother gave our family - something authentic to Thailand?”

 That question became the beginning of Roti Queen.

Roti is a cherished childhood comfort her grandmother had shared with her. Passed down through generations, the family recipe became the heart of Roti Queen.

Born from love, loss, heritage, and family tradition, Roti Queen is a tribute to her grandmother and a celebration of authentic Thai roti.

Roti Queen was created with three simple purposes.

1. To share this popular street food found throughout Thailand with the world

2. To honour the founder’s family, culture and heritage

3. To create moments of connection through food and drinks made with heart

Roti Queen made its debut in 2024 at Canopy Market during the Thailand Showcase, proudly supported by the Royal Thai Embassy. From day one, our authentic Thai roti became a crowd favourite, selling out daily.

Since then, we have brought Roti Queen to pop-ups across London, including Lewis Cubitt Square and Potters Fields Market, introducing more people to the flavours and traditions of Thai pancakes.

Today, Roti Queen continues its journey to become the UK’s most loved destination for authentic Thai pancakes, bringing a taste of Thailand to communities across the country.
